Chairman's Message

The fact that our educational system is inherently inadequate and impotent to fulfil the needs and aspiration for which it was established, is no more a secret. The school aims to impart a complete and high quality education in the true sense of the word, not only by the way of formidably high academic standards, but also by developing all faculties-intellectual, physical and spiritual. An ignited mind, intellectual curiosity, moral integrity, a strong sense of values, a disciplined life-style and feeling of comradeship among students will transcend social, communal, religious and provincial prejudices. Too much emphasis on the academic side of education has narrowed our vision to such a great extent, that for many of us, the term EDUCATION has now become synonymous with book learning. A child who is the most wonderful creation of nature, is endowed with boundless energy and tremendous potentialities. He/she is the source material in the hands of society and education is the technique by which the society turns that source material into worthy citizens. Education is, thus, the magic touch which turns clay into gold.Education, we all agree, is not an ordinary or tradeable commodity and mere salesmanship does not fetch us the right returns. It requires much more. It is the realization which has inspired us to plunge into this field. We know that the education available in the existing institutions offers job-oriented knowledge, which does not develop higher state of consciousness and does not help any one to live the full potential of life.In addition to job-oriented education through the existing institutions, every one should also have life-oriented education. The importance of quality education, thus, becomes obvious. We believe in value-based education and we are not frightened to tread the difficult path. We are wedded to our mission of providing that type of education which creates awareness in children to their environments which awakens and illuminates their minds and souls and which gives them the strength of conscience and character.

We lay a strong emphasis on games and sports, co-curricular activities, expedition, outdoor activities, project work etc, so as to relate education to real life experiences, and in conformity with Kurthahn’s concept, to take education beyond the confines of the class room, making it unto rich, stimulating and creative experiences.
